- In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients except water and mix well with your hand
- Gradually add the warm water and knead until you get a soft (not sticky) dough
- Knead for 5 minutes, cover and keep aside for 30 mins in the fridge
- Form four equal size balls from the dough, cover and let it rest for 20 minutes
- Dust the working surface with flour and roll the first ball into an oval shape
- Roll it to around to 1/4 inch in thickness, and insert small pieces of paneer into the dough
- Butter a hot pan and place the rolled out dough onto the pan
- When the bubbles appear and the surface no longer looks raw, make sure to flip to cook the other side
- Once both the sides are cooked and crispy, remove the naan and add more butter
